Dance Team News:  The dance team will be selling treats on Fridays after lunch in the MS Commons.  Each week they will have different treats, be sure to bring your money!

Jeff. Co. Library News:  Teen book making class @ Jefferson County Library on Monday, Dec. 14^th from 3:30 -  5:00.

Please remember to leave all of your electronic devices at home as they distract from learning and could get lost or stolen.

Homework Spot: The Jefferson County Library on Tuesday and Thursday from 2:30 – 4:30

The YMCA is sponsoring a Babysitting Class on January 6, 7, 2010.  It will be after school from 2:30 – 4:30.  More information is available in the MS office.  Fee for this class is $40.00.

ASB FOOD DRIVE – Food Drive Totals as of November 25^th is 190 pounds.

The food drive ends on December 16^th.  The winning classroom will be awarded ice cream sandwiches on Dec. 18^th.

Dental Health Services Coming in School Based Health Centers:  Good oral health is an important part of total body health.  That is why we are happy to announce the addition of preventive dental/oral health services to the school based health clinic schedule.  Students without dental insurance or who have Medicaid insurance are eligible.  Parental consent is required.

Cyndi Newman, RDH, Jefferson County Oral Health Program Coordinator/Dental Hygienist will be providing the services.  The clinics will offer dental/oral health assessments, oral health instructions, dental cleanings, fluoride applications, dental sealants, and dental referrals. These services will be available by appointment  on the following dates:  Please call 385-9400 for more information and to schedule an appointment.
